Like Steve said have you considered bags at all? I know my dad actual installed some on a pickup to haul wood....no it didn't have a compressor but a schrader(sp?) valve that he could change the air pressure with a standard air compressor.

I have considered them but a piece of box steel is way less expensive and painless. It would be really cool to have bags in the rear but when i think of money spent on nothing more than a "fancy way of holding up the rear end" it makes me sick. I'll bag the white one.

who said anything about being "cool"? bags arent meant to be cool they are meant to hold weight. Its not a "fancy" way of holding anything up, if anything its the RIGHT way to do it. I didnt tell you to put front, back, side2side in it for christ-sake. Box steel = no suspension at all. Its your rig, I guess if your trailoring it everywhere it dont matter - just a suggestion. Im not even trying to suggest how to build your system because that annoys me when people do that too.....but a simple suggestion to get that thing off the ground with a couple thousand lbs in the back. Its really not even that expensive to do it either when your talking pure WEIGHT managment -
