groundpounder2k2 Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Well The old Panasonic Ghost......(the deck in the Cavalier) Ive had the Ghost since 2001 and its really on its last leg..............I need to get a new Head unit.....But i cannot spend alot of money....I Just want a CD mp3 player no hard drive yadda yadda shit......no ipod......bla bla bla.........I just need a good deck that will play cds at 154 Db..........thats all............gotta have front rear and sub outputs........ My MainMan,My lil Man,Dude,Bubb....My son Memphis @ 3years OldShow'em that car son..........

pstone11 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 I agree with the Alpine 9883 or 9885, I have the 9885 and it's nice. I've had skipping problems with both pioneer decks I've had recently (reg. and a premier). I have a Kenwood deck in the sausage right now (getting replaced with a 9885) and it's OK, takes forever to load CD's, and the controls kind of suck, but dosn't skip.. That's it..
