andym85 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 how does a suspension lock up?from what i know (which isnt a whole hell of a lot), the coil jumps that gap, therefore it cant move in a linear fashion anymore and just kind of locks in place.....imagine completely freezing a sub solid and then trying to push down on the cone...it wouldnt move at all...thats what a sub feels like when it locks up Quote i likes me some audio stuff...
