trainman0978
I run nothin but 93 octane in my FJ cruiser. It runs me right at 65 bucks to fill it when the low fuel light comes on. I can run about 300 miles from full to the low fuel indicator lighting up. I would have already bought a motorcycle to make the commute to work, which is just over 20 miles one way. The only problem is I have to carry a suitcase a book bag and another bag with me almost every time I go to work, on account I spend two or three days away from home and I have to carry rule books, timetables, paperwork , radio, railroad approved flashlight, etc.... Kinda hard to get all of that on a motorcycle. I have noticed though I no longer make unnecessary trip into savannah which is 20 -30 miles from the house. when I bought my FJ in october 2006, it cost 40 bucks to fill it with 93 octane from basically bone dry, close to 19 gallons. Now its $65.00 for 15 gallons. This shit sucks. But We are the middle class of america, so we bend over and take it with a fuckin smile. raytard
2 Years ago I had a dodge durango, honestly only around 8 miles to the gallon. I got sick of paying 200+ a week for gas (45 miles each way to work, 6 days a week, and wherever else i went) so i switched to an avalon, huge ass car that still does over 20mpg if I baby it. Gas costs me like 30 bucks a week now, but i work less than 5 miles from home now anyway. still want to get a bike though, alot more fun in summer and 12 bucks would last me a month Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
