I was visiting my parent about 97'- 98' and I seen this new at the time mercedes come out of the parking lot next to thiere apt complex, and seen the windows fade from a tint about 35% to clear.... I know what I seen, I was able to see the guys face clearly after the tint faded.... but that was atleast 10years ago, was this around back then? if not, was I on some damn good drugs? Your not crazy, it's been around for a long time now. For it to work on your windows in a car, you would need to template your windows so they can cut the sheet to match. Also I don't think it curves well, I think it's meant more for straight glass. You can hook up with a commercial glass company, they will have the contacts to do it.
