LT.Smoke
Hey, I have my 96 4 door accord Ex. Im wondering if a 150 is reachable or at the least i would like to get into the High 140's in my car with my single 15" Mtx 9500 Subwoofer,Mtx 91002 Amplifier,High Output Alternator and custom slot port enclosure. All the rest of my extra goodies are listed in my signature. Right now i only have an Audio Enhancers slotport enclosure and a Phoenix Gold Octane 15.0:1 Amplifier as my equipment. The Mtx Amp and custom Slot Port are in the very new future. deafyT
good luck. there were only a small handful of loud trunk cars in the past few years (loud = doing > 150 legally). mike stiers is one and rawdogg with the old orion car that mysteriously caught on fire is the other. they weren't musical boxes at all. hotshot27
Accordman on this forum has [had?] a 150+ accord, but he had hella power and two 15's or 18's. PM him and see how much blood sweat and tears went into that build. edit: "Accordman: my 15" 5400 was 151.6 on music in an accord with seat down on music off a RF tk i would have bought a second one had the sub not snapped" if you dont know, the 5400 is an extremely badass sub, and, not to hate on your stuff, would shit in anything you can find in a consumer store. but by all means, prove me wrong and get that 150, i'm just not thinking it will happen with that equipment. galacticmonkey
Its possible, but you need a ton of power and knowledge about how to make a car meter. Not trying to sound like an ass here, so dont get me wrong, but if you have to ask, the answer is probably no. Have you ever heard a car that can do a 150? hotshot27
loudest i've been in was a blowthrough in and avalache, very much like the rezcalade, but it was 6 JL w3's. And it was only a 147.2 I thought my ears were gonna bleed. 150 is VERY loud to a normal person Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN
galacticmonkey
Its possible, but going to be VERY hard, especially with that equipment. Heck, Im pretty sure I wouldnt be able to do it with that equipment out of a trunk, no matter how much testing. Takes a different type of person to pull that kind of stuff off. Skip01
Depending on where u mean to do a 50? Legal, Kick, Headrest Legal.....probably no Kick, def. with more power Headrest prolly too, its achievable You are in luck....this is in a Accord.....and it can do a 150 in kick/headrest with single 15 and hits low: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZH05RELAA38 Quote 2004 Explorer4 12" Type R500.1(.5 ohm)6cu@35hz153@ 44hz
