fearof85 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 What you had was a bandpass, a 6th order series tuned to be exact, the opening in the middle chamber actually is acting like a port. You might not have designed it that way but it still has all the same characteristics as a 6th order, Steve's build in the Caddy is the same but a parallel tuned 6th order. If you built that bandpass on accident then I can't wait to see the next one when you put your mind to it. To bad you didn't like it it looked like a solid build, what went wrong? Torres Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 yeah, except the middle part wasnt exactly tuned lol. i did like it, but had some issues. and i wasnt a big fan of taking so many speakers in and out to check. or to rebuild. so i got something more practical and still fairly loud. it was a fun build tho and peoples expressions were funny when they saw it
