Audiobahnaholic
what makes that lil winding sound right before he goes fulll blast on the bass knob in his demos ? The engine. Meade revs the tahoe up to probably 2000RPM because the alts will put out more current at the higher RPM. So it basically makes his electrical that much stronger. twiztid8322
what makes that lil winding sound right before he goes fulll blast on the bass knob in his demos ? Yea the winding noise is either the belt rubbing on the pullys of the alternators or its the alternators themselves.
audiofanaticz
He uses his remote GAIN knob from one of his 360.2's to control his sub level. It is not a bass boost. Before I had put in my 360.2 in I used a PAC #LC1 as a remote gain control. You can pick one up for under 20 bucks and it goes inline with your RCA's. I also use a line output gain control. Its nicer then the bass boost itself because you have control over the out put of the amp, and not just the bass. I still used it while I had my two rf 10001bds strapped too, along with my knob that Meade Fedex'ed my way (thanks again bro)!, but mainy used the rf knob for the freq of the hz I was boosting.. It was knob central where my ashtray use to be, now its just my prc 1, and my voltage regulator dial (can change my voltage anywhere from 13.4-21 volts on the fly). here is my knob http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/produ...x?ProductID=267 my dash do you mean a equilizer?epicenter?or there some RCA's that you could control your amps just by using that...or here's one you could use.. http://www.darvex.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Sc...Product_Count=1 or this one http://sonicelectronix.com/item_5261_PAC+LC2.html# or http://sonicelectronix.com/item_10092_Scosche+RLC.html# ...either one...they should work for u.. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10092_Scosche+RLC.html ...you think that would work Those would all work, and do the job, but I am biased to the peripheral components. Their tech side seems to be way advanced compaired to companies like scocshe or whatever crap walmart brand. Not to mention that its the company that makes all the crazy bypass kits for onstar, steering wheel controls, and other factory intergration. The pac seems alright but is big and bulky, which may limit mounting solutions.
