anyways...we hooked his sub up to my amp the a few days ago, just to here it, and we realized that we could hear the top port hitting the top of the box and the bottom port hitting the bottom of the box...so we had to shave them down a lil...here are the pics...

let me just say..DAMN. we had it blasting when his seats were still out and it was insane. i have been in my car at a 143.2 and i am telling you, without the seats in he had to be damn close to touching a 150...just the way it made your body feel and how u wanted to kinda puke, it was awesome. it wasnt as loud with his seats in, but still louder than mine, imo...i swear there is a few db increase when the driver door is closed and the passenger door is open...the lows are teh awesome...

i took a vid last night, but it was raining and too dark and looked like shit when i uploaded it to the computer...so i will get another one shot soon...

i just love it when a plan comes together...

i likes me some audio stuff...

Having heard a 18Q for a long time now, no way in hell is it touching 150 unless the mics in proximity to the port.  hes running the Hifonics 1605d on his 18Q i'd generously say hes hitting 146 on it.

Back on topic though, i think the install looks great, i love the box, and the wiring looks nice and clean.

well with the seats in i say is around a 145 or so...but i was talking about when we were lettin it rip without any of the seats in...i could hardly take it, wish i had a mic so i could have seen...we go back down to school in a week and a shop down there has a mic, so we will probably get it metered then...

thanks for compliments accord...everything came together and it turned out real nice/clean/simple, imo...

Comparing 143 and 145 that sounds more reasonable... 2dbs is a difference that you will feel.

nice job on the box, and especially on the paint. I know that Black is hands down the toughest color of paint to spray well.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...
