My First Computer Build

dno much about 'lite on' but i would go with an LG, sony, or pioneer drive from newegg over that just for security issues of reliability. spend that much and have it shit out on you

I've had all of the drives listed and the only ones I like were liteon, samsung, and pioneer....and the liteon are half the price. IMO LG are loud and garbage and Sony are loud too but much better than Lg and just an FYI liteon is made by sony....

yeah my drive is sony, and it works for the most part but every once in a while i'll hear it rev up then stop, then rev up, then stop. happened last night trying to install a game. doesnt read the disc when doing that. PISSES me off lol. i'm going with a samsung one that i'm about to buy right now

Well even if u dont have the 4870x2, its still a great comp.

Ill eventually build another one but for being the first comp ive ever built ill just stick with this when I do build a new bigger better faster comp it will have top of the line everything in it

Asus mother boards are good and it looks like it will work very nice man.

They've been going down slightly in quality in the past two years, haven't they? Not entirely sure... lol.

Ok so I got it all finished last night Im waiting on my damm camera cord to come from fedex should have it sometime this week I scored 12687 on 3D Marks and I havent messed with overclocking it yet
