duct_tape123 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 CCA = copper clad aluminum (alum wire with copper coating)= cheaper Pure copper = teh bestest= more expensiver
DUBIE Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 one is better than the other...lets say one is actually stronger than the other one..you know what i mean?
audioman21 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 CCA means copper clad aluminum. basically a mixture of alumiun and copper, not solid copper like normal wire. Copper is expensive right now thus mixing it with aluminum equals less expensive wire.
99vic Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 oh ok ill just go with the copper, thanks guys REST IN PARADISE BIG RICH (Sqmonte) never forgotten Why do you guys ALWAYS dispute on NUMBERS????? kingsuv Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Here is a good read about types of power wire. http://www.caraudiomag.com/specialfeatures...wire/index.html Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
