Would have to be very bad being 3 inches thick to flex like that. And if he actully is in the 150+ db club your going to have some surious flex even with minor bracing. His box is jumping around a lot also from the bass I love you song. I know when I had my box in my trunk with 1 18 it jumped like a fish outta water, but didnt flex.
