Mosin
i was gonna say that too...maybe the car isnt loosing power..is just that maybe the BASS is vibrating the gauges... Well I just checked and it is the car slowing down when the high-notes hit. The bass only effects the speedo not the tach, voltage, Oil Press., etc... Again, the car ONLY slows down when its basically at a crawl. Derp.
jack
have you tried hooking up a dmm to the car while this is happening, maybe there is enough drop for the electric gauges to react adversly. if voltage is ok try relay isolating your deck power from the cars ignition source http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=29213 "sleeper build" (1) DC AUDIO Level4XL 10 (2) PowermasterD2700 batteries ALL FOR SALE TEAM DC AUDIO TEAM DIRTFLOORPOOR

What do you mean exactly? I have a digital voltage meter hooked up at the amp. Where would I hook the DMM to to get a accurate reading of the cars voltage? Derp. roscoe1129
before I BEEFED up the electrical in the burb it would actually SHUT the vehicle down if I let it due to lack of voltage getting to the cars ECU!! Where would I hook the DMM to to get a accurate reading of the cars voltage? possible there is enough drain on your system to effect the instuments but not your stereo??? so if you have strong voltage in the car...atlest 12 when the bass is hitting then there might be a problem with the deck pulling power from the acc circuit that your cluster may share. also make your ground for the deck independent froom the cars harness. just for trial run a power wire from your battery(amp) to the constant and ign wires on the stereo, so that it is not hooked up to the cars radio harness and see if that is the issue. i dont know if that is the issue but it is just a process of illimination[sp] http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=29213 "sleeper build" (1) DC AUDIO Level4XL 10 (2) PowermasterD2700 batteries ALL FOR SALE TEAM DC AUDIO TEAM DIRTFLOORPOOR
