ChevyBoy
you can use it, just dont use too much at one time because it can warp the lid. it expands a lot, so be careful. and its actually insulation, so it will in a sense, insulate your trunk a little bit. Torres
if you had a heat source in your trunk...it'd help trap heat. since the heat source it outside, it'll help keep the heat out.

His amp produces heat so it will trap some of that. Worse comes down to it you pop a fan or two in the back. Old man Mikes van?? Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Nightshade
It's going to add weight to the lid and act as a deadener as well. In my old car I had the lid full of expanding foam and 3 sheets of butyl deadener, and the lid didn't like to stay open on it's own.
