Expanda Foam In Trunk Holes? Help Er No?

alright im tyin to get my trunk to stop rattling, there are big holes all over in the trunk lid and i was wondering if expanda foam could be used to help deadin it? there are no subs in the trunk just amp?

also will this trap heat more? i am tryin to get my trunk to not get as hot since my car is black, will expanda foam help with this or no? thanks

you can use it, just dont use too much at one time because it can warp the lid. it expands a lot, so be careful. and its actually insulation, so it will in a sense, insulate your trunk a little bit.

Yep..you can use it...just have to make sure that it has room to expand..I have seen it do some real damage!!

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

It's going to add weight to the lid and act as a deadener as well. In my old car I had the lid full of expanding foam and 3 sheets of butyl deadener, and the lid didn't like to stay open on it's own.
