mcnaught82
Tonight I went out to clean my windows in my yukon. I used Eagle One Glass Cleaner. I have used this on my windows before and It worked fine. Well tonight I sprayed it on my drivers window, and I went to wipe it off and it caused some of the layers of film to come off and now my window is all smugged looking and fucked up. How do you remove tint? Quote Team Deadly Hertz

G_Fresh
The best thing to you is a window scraper. Way safer and easier. You can buy them almost anywhere. http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-28-593-Carde...r/dp/B00002X1ZY

andym85
i was told do not use a scraper on your rear window or it will fuck up your defrost....they make a spray for it...you spray it on and tape a bag over your window, let it sit and try and remove it....i am about to attempt it in a few weeks...but have no idea what this spray is...i need to do some searching Quote i likes me some audio stuff... Shyne151
the pro's use a speacial steam machine but you can use a razor blade and window cleaner. nothing special, it is a regular steamer. That's the easiest, quickest, and cleanest way to take tint off. Believe me I have to remove front window tint almost everyday(local university cop is a nazi about it and hands out fix-it tickets like crazy). steamer>scraping Use a scraper/razer blade if you want to be there all day, steamer if you want to be done in 5minutes Edited August 26, 2008 by Shyne151 Quote -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune.
