I saw Pantera twice and even got a pic, with his thumb print in it, from Dime at the Great Southern Trendkill show. I loved Pantera, the best band EVER. meade916 Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2008 update: here is pics from my 3 day adventure i didnt get a pic of me and phil like i wanted but its cool, i got to meet him. I also got to meet Rex, Pepper, Kirk Windstein, and Jimmy Bower....it was AWESOME!! In case you dont know, "Down" is a group made up of guys from other bands (Phil Anselmo of Pantera, guitarist Pepper Keenan of Corrosion of Conformity, second guitarist Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, bassist Rex of Pantera, and drummer Jimmy Bower of Eyehategod.) Oh and i also got to chill with Snake Sabo of Skid Row.....he is there manager. This man is a legend too and a real nice guy. We were on our laptops surfin the web in the production room like it was no thing. Maybe not to him, i kept my cool but it was sorta a big deal to me in my head because i couldnt believe i was just sitting there. Anyway, i got TONS of pics......lots of video too of both Metallica and Down. Ill put some of those up for the metal heads this week anyway heres the pics starting with the plane trip because you know im a picture taking fool The MAN responsible for gettin me in and me gettin treated like a king.....dude took good care of me. Thanks for everything Troy!! He is a huge car audio fan so since we were in the "hood" tryin to kill time, i took him to Rockford. He was STOKED! later, after our RF tour, we went to Alice Coopers bar called "Cooperstown"....everything on the house because Troy had the HOOK UP. We took Zack from Rockford with us.....he somehow ate a 22" hot dog gonna be on the shitter all day from that one lol Our tour bus...(i said "our" LOL.....but ya i did ride in it from our room to the show FTW!)
