Slinky Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 Talk about quality. my shop has a civic hatchback with a fiberglass wall of 4 of those 12inch bravox edx powered by a memphis mcd4kw(they also worship memphis amps) the subs are supposed to be spl subs but they have extraordinary sound quality too. i wish there was a 15 inch edx! Pokey Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Did you see how big of a difference there is between the dual 2ohm and dual 4ohm 12??? I don't understand that....here's what I'm talking about so everyone else can see too. Dual 2ohm specs are listed first, then dual 4ohm specs... Krm (m ohms) : 5.33/8.30 Kxm (mh) : 0.061/77.97 Erm: 0.814/0.815 Exm: 0.601/0.628 Bl (T*m): 13.1/15.8 Vas (l): 44.5/42 Mms(g): 192.5/290 Qms: 11.7/15 Qes: 0.24/0.39 Qts: 0.23/0.38 Xmax (mm):19/25 Spl (db at 1w/m):91/86.5 Power handling RMS:300-3000/2000-1000 This confused the shit out of me...the only thing I could think of was that there is a mistake on the site and the "Dual 4ohm 12" is really a 15. But I don't know. Would just having voice coils cause so much change??? I don't know what all that means, but it's alot of change just for having different voice coils. Help me out here fellas....I'm lost. Quote
