as long as the alt is over 100 amps then i believe a capacitor would work fine. if ur prolly gonne upgrade later then go ahead and get batteries and a new alt. if not dont worry bout it. im runnin 1400-1500 wrms wit a 1.2 farad cap and a 130 amp max alt. my voltage only goes down to about 13.1 which isnt horrible for bein all stock.

so in this situation i believe a capacitor would work fine. not everyone needs to add extra batteries

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

if the alt can charge that battery the front battery and run the amp then yes.

i just dont like people sayin caps suck cuz they dont. in his situation i think a cap would do exactly wut he wants it to

ok think of it this way. you need to charge the cap correct? Once it is drained or current is pulled from it it will need more juice correct? Well what happens then? the alternator has to charge it along with supply the necessary current to the rest of the items that are in need. You just created more current draw then you originally had. Same thing with a battery the only good thing is that you have a bigger reserve to pull current from before the its noticeable. if you are advanced far enough to have these issues then you really should consider running a bigger alternator that can power everything sufficiently.

Dont bandaid your electrical when it needs stitches!!!!!!
