wasted ink
Do you have a lathe? Just machine one and thread it. i was going to say the same thing. or.. cut it with a bandsaw, right under the head. grind the cut smooth and flat on both sides. tig weld a small section of equal diameter round stock, making sure it is straight. put it in a lathe and turn it on, just to make sure its true. thats exactly what i would do. Aaron813
Does it have to be that style of bolt head or could it be a regular or allen style head
Shyne151
If it doesn't have to be that head, I would just goto homedepot and look for one... -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. mbdblue
pm'd, did it go through?? got it man....thats a good idea. and to others....I do need that style head; or else I would just go get a different one. Its to adjust the tension of the belt on the alternator....basically this bolt goes through a slide that goes through the bottom bracket of the alt. another bolt screws into the head of this one pulling the alt forward.
