if u have a durango i wouldnt wall it, thats just me. if i had that kind of room id just stick to sub up/port back crx style box. its nice to see behind you lol. with limited space hell yeah wall the bish!

well i stopped at 3 different places today and each of them are lookin for another 07 dakota for me. i want the same as what i had before. back seats will be comming out

aaron-im trying to stick to a midsize truck unless i moved to an avalanche. but im sure the dakota will handle the weight. besides its going to be in the middle of the truck not all on the bed like last time.

not plannin on walling the durangho...if i get the truck ill wall it...if i keep the durangho i will keep it crx style with a larger box. im aready above the window line so why not have it higher and get more output with a bigger box

realistically it depends on how much power you have. So it could be either way around. If you are giving a sub rated power or less you want a box on the larger end of the spectrum. If you are giving it above rated, your box needs to get smaller....that's how I understand it.

I agree. Walling it behind the second row would be brutal for backseat passengers. It would also allow you to keep some extra space for batteries, sub amps, and full range amps. SUV's are a lot easier to work in when space is not an issue. The only nice thing about an extended cab truck is that they're easy to take the seats out of and then you have a lot more room to work in. I built a box for 3 12's in a Ranger and I took out the front seats just to make it easier to install. It wasn't necessary but it made it a whole lot easier. You might as well wall the vehicle otherwise you're going to kick yourself in the ass wondering what it would be like if you did.
