Well I don't have pics and as you can tell this is my first post!!! YAY!!!!! but my real question is if I'm considered a ground pounder. my system is as reads:

4 Alpine Type R's 500w to each sub 2 of them rigged at 4 ohms and the others at 2ohms

2 1000w JL 1001 v2 Slashs powering them

all my door speakers are kenwood excelerions along with my Deck

and powering those are a single Alpine 500w

I dunno if there is a certian decible that defines you a ground pounder but I hit 155.4 this summer with out the new ported boxes i have now and that was only with 2 subs also

.

Thanx for the input.

proof or I call :bsflag: . I hope you are not bsing cause you aint gotta lie to kick it. If you are doing 155, more power to you, but I would love to see it. Not tryin to be a jerk at all man, but do you mean kenwood excelon speakers? Or is there a series called excelerions that I don't know about. Just wondering.

I get a strange feeling that number was completely arbitrary. If you were hitting 155+ with two subs on 1000W, you:

1. Would know you were a ground pounder

2. Been to many many more shows

3. Had engineers design your box

4. The meter was bought on eBay.

I second the BS.

X3 on the :bsflag: Don't be one of those guys man. You'll get no respect here boasting these impossible numbers. People will respect you more if you just tell the truth and show your accomplishments like the rest of us. Don't make outrageous claims and all will be cool.

Notice, he said that reading was before he got the new boxes and two more subs. He was hitting that with just two.
