banginAltima
I have never used Titebond before, how hard is it to sand? I am actually using Titebond III, if that makes a difference. Edit: Any tips on using this stuff? Edited November 27, 2008 by banginAltima Quote If you build it, db's will come... dwright27
its not to bad. if you take a wet nap, and ipe the titebond from where its runnning you can end up with some pretty nice seams. we use titebond at work ( titebond II _ and it comes off pretty easy with some rough sand paper. EDIT for your edit: its your friend!!! use alot of it, if it aint running down the sides of the box you didnt use enough, because the glue is really what holds your box together in the long run. Torres
i havent found sanding it to be any harder than sanding wood. i used a belt sander on the seams and it'd just sand the bish down.
now534
if your talkin about the wood glue that stuff is really good it seals my boxes up really nice and make them have a better sound than before.i have used it on two boxes that were not built good (used boxes) and it made them sound a lot better just by putting a bead down every seam and lettign it dry

Shyne151
Titebond = the shit. We buy the red kind(original i think?) by the gallon. Just keep a couple of the little bottles around and refill them, works great. As for sanding it, it sands very easy. I usually run the edges of my box with the belt sander at work, works great... or my angle die grinder with a 80grit pad will take it down quick too.
