I have had the PT almost 2 years now and I was flat out bored with the stock system. I started out with some old leftover 8ga wire I had and a old school MTX 421D. I bought 2 10" D4 CVR's and a prefab box. It hit pretty good for being what it was with a stock radio. A week later I went and bought the el cheapo dual in dash radio with the 7" screen. I know it's a cheap radio, but it had to do for now. I then purchased 2 kicker 200.2 amps. One for the front doors, the other for the rear doors. I ran them on the stock door speakers for about a week. I then purchased 2 sets of the kicker DS600 6.5's. Everything was nice and loud now. A couple days later I decided 2 10's wasnt enough so I went and bought 2 more 10's. We built a box on saturday and everything was looking good. All I had to power the 4 10's was a MTX 6500D. I knew it wasnt enough power but it would do for now. Well, that idea lasted for about a day because the amp went up in smoke. Long story short I had to purchase another amp. I figured since everything was kicker, I would go with the kicker 1000.1 amp. It all sound good now and I am pretty happy with it all. I am going to change out the HU with a alpine CDA-9886 hopefully today. I have some other plans for interior work and such as well. I will post up pics as the work is done. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
