HOLY HELL BATMAN!!! Can't say I've ever seen a sealed deep cycle end up that bad.... then again, just be glad it wasn't a regular acid battery, half your compartment would be disolved right about now... :unknw:

I was never that low I dont think. Im pretty sure the lowest I ever dropped to was around 10v. But its a deep cycle battery, its made to be drained and recharged.

Well of course...

They will blow up after you do that one too many times.

dropping a deep cycle bat down below 10.5v about 400 times will only damage it's charging ability slightly..it will not make it explode. Anyway i wanna see that pic..all i see is that ur a feg.

Sounds like overcharge to me.

Then again I've heard of a Yellowtop just mysteriously shit itself one day in the trunk of a showcar, my mate ripped it out real fast because it was bulging and making bubbling noises, ran out of the show hall and biffed it in the harbour :P
