mr.p Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 yea, im going to run lvl 4 xl's purely because of the fact that noobtastic is gonna drive to reno and pick them up for me so i can make the show....but being able to run 1 ohm on each amp means ill have 4x the power i had before with a huge reduction in xmax and efficiency tho...now my electrical isnt up to par!!! i have a 130 amp alt, yellow top, and 2 sealed group 31's maybe 3 of those...plus a kinetik so 5 batts? DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

mr.p Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 noobtastic is gonna make a vid and some pics of the distraught cone....we took them out i turned on my car and shorted the speaker wire on the amp out to the case of the amp...so one mmats down? im not sure if its toasted i havent even checked it, it did power back on ok, just no subs to hook too...not a big loss luckily a flat rate repair fee, like 120-160$ i think iirc....so now its lvl4 XL's on mmats hd4000.1 at 1/2 ohm DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
