fearof85
Looks like it's going to be simple and loud. The only thing I see is that back wall extension restricting air flow at the top of the port. If it sounds funny you could always lower tuning and add a few 2x4's to make the port the same height as the back extension. Looking solid though. Neo_frog
Thanks a lot guys! I'm liking it better than the last ones too. Looks like it's going to be simple and loud. If it sounds funny you could always lower tuning and add a few 2x4's to make the port the same height as the back extension. Looking solid though. Drew Yeah, I knew that the short piece behind the subs and the back drop might be an issue, but It brings my tuning down to 31hz like I wanted. Should it pose a problem, I'm gonna try rounding it out back there before I modify the port. what circle jig is that? Just a basic jasper jig I picked up at a local Woodcraft. It was like 20 bucks because I had to drill and recess the screw holes myself. Some off brand one, but it's awesome. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Neo_frog
Ok, don't laugh at this next one. It was like 11 at night and I was exhausted. I'm gonna change this using some aluminum bars, but I thought I'd post it cause it looks funny. This is my 'jumper' battery so I can add more 2400s in the rear footwells later without cutting any more wire. And this is where I sit now. It's a dry run because I have more bracing to do, but I screwed them on for a test fit. I have school and work all week so I'll continue this weekend! Need an install? fearof85
How come you don't run both 4000's. One should be enough but two would you know.....
