haha arrogance

as for the alt you do the math then stock battery, 1 run of 1/0, the big 3, and a kinetik hc1400 I'm pretty damn sure 1k watts shouldn't phase a 270 amp alternator but I'm planning on doing a negative run to see if it helps won't be for another week or so

So fucking what? Guess i should start driving around with my brights on 24/7, not like it looks like it with the stereo going.

You've got problems if you're voltage is dropping like that, my voltage drop is like that with one 55a alt and a single wet cell battery up front. :01nocomment8so: :01nocomment8so:

still haven't really got the EQ dialed in just right I was messing with it tonight and I think I might have it where I like it.

treble on the deck at 0 and high pass at 120hz

Did you use one of the these: http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=1000 or these http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=992 for the EQ? Wondering, because it looks pretty clean in your dash.

I just got the same EQ and a deck for my car... Deck to EQ to 360.2..... Should sound nice when its all hooked up! Gonna take hours to tune though! Good to see maybe I can save myself some time by bypassing the sub input on the EQ, we'll see though.

ok if you don't know what you are talking about stfu and gtfo because your lack of knowledge on HID's kills me.. just because you have seen some horrible installs in your area and have this general view about HID's blinding people you don't need to take that out on me I have done my research I ALWAYS do before I buy something.

do you have a RF t1k? nope they are pretty power hungry from what I know so I don't need your irrelevant comparisons here either

that is my next factor that I plan on taking care of next each time a variable changes I take it down and narrow down what my problem really is. I should be getting a full run of negative coming up in the next week

bought the 9884 from crutchfield because they throw in all the accessories and what not for free and it had a half din slot that had a cover over it. there is a video before I installed it on my youtube iSchutz.

had to dremel it out a good bit though because the EQ is bigger then a stuck a piece of thick foam in between the HU and EQ and wrapped electrical tape around it to keep it like its a double din.

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Bah fuck HID's, blinds the living shit out of other drivers... I fucking hate HID's.

Well... Considering your vehicles electronics use probably ~60a and your amp draws about ~120... Needs more battery power to keep up the voltage.. Duh.

properly aimed HID's dont always blind other drivers. I personally wouldnt drive without them and i personally dont care if you or anyone else hates them. I personally think people that complain are cry babies. I have seen some blinding Halogens and blinding HID's and neither of them made me angry like it seems to make you.

properly aimed HID's arent as bright to oncoming drivers as a set of halogens on its brights. Kasey, dont listen to this guy. Get what you want and aim them correctly you will be fine.

P.S. - Kasey, you guys saw my Tahoe in its full glory, at night on the highway, right behind you and at least 3 football fields ahead of me at one point...... with 7k HID's, Diamond clear housings, and also 7k HID fogs.....aimed properly. Was there ANYTHING annoying about the way mine look? Any reason for some jackass to cry about it? Not calling that last guy the jackass, just talking about jackasses in general. I rarely ever get flashed on by other drivers and its going on 6 years with HID's in my hoe......that leads me to believe its not as bad as some people think.

the vast majority of those lights i see are blinding. i dont have that issue with regular lights. so i can assume most of them are not aimed properly according to you. granted that makes sense. people are lazy and dont want to do extra work.

so erics point seems to make sense. very often hid's are brutally bright and cause issues driving at night (they do for me)

not everyone takes time to do things right and the norm nowadays is to do it to get it done.

and just one more thing i gotta throw in. do whatever needs to be done for me saying this but honestly if you didnt care, you wouldnt have said anything.

I have had my HIDs for 9 months and have never been flashed. They are the shit, and I will put them on all my future cars. I've personally flashed people who aimed their HIDs wrong and blinded the shit out of me, but thats few compared to the number of hids out there. I put HIDs on mine because I couldn't see shit, and it fixed the problem. I don't have any problems seeing whats ahead of me at night anymore.
