Lucky its not here in london :^ Daily Telegraph - Crackdown on Die-Pods OFFICIALS worried about pedestrians being run over while listening to iPods and radios are planning to fine anybody who crosses a road wearing such a device $100. The crackdown is the brainchild of New York State Senator Carl Krugerm who today said three pedestrians in his Brooklyn district have been killed since September upon stepping into traffic while distracted by an electronic device. Senator Kruger said he will introduce legislation today to ban the use of gadgets such as iPods, mobile phones, Blackberry devices and video games while crossing the street. Maybe its just me but i don't like them... this is what i got... its only 1 gigs though.. but thats like 400 songs... looks at the headphone jack !! LOL even my 7yr old is running more than 1gig, i think he has at least a 2gig. Sorry coolW but that thing you got is like a $30 after tax Mp3 player dont hate on the Ipod cuz ya aint got one (or a Zune that comes recommended by you). ;D Im sure the Zune is nice though.....ive had my Ipod a year or two so i dont need anything else. Besides i also have docking stations all over the house on about every thing that resembles a reciever and all the ipods we have fit perfect...Zune-Shmoon is what i say. (again im sure its nice though ) All the vids you see me bumpin was using the Ipod as my source thru the Pioneer. I would think it would skip. I guess you can tell you run the ipod on the vids just by seein how fast you turn up the volume everytime. meade916 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Share Posted February 8, 2007 i use the ipod but when its docked up to the Pioneer i only control it with the deck...not the wheel on the front of it. yes at this point my deck and my changer both skip at times....so i use Ipod and no worries! They didnt say wearing an ipod was illegal, they said crossing the street while wearing it is illega. i would have no problem remnoving my ipod while i crossed the street, then put it back on. big deal.
