I know ur new. I'm not "upset" or in need of "relaxing" or being mean. I was giving you the answer to your Question. Did you read that thread? The answer is there. I had A LOT to say on this matter. If you go back and read that thread all the way through, you'll realize I answered this Q and don't feel like writing that novel worth of info (that ended up stickied). It was two separate boxes in one, tuned the same lol It sounded wicked, to the JL's I have a hifonics 606 and to the Hifonics I had a JL 400e. ALL shoved in the trunk of my cavy, off the stock alt hahahahhaa No pics right now though, they're on another computer... hybrid setups on a budget, nothin like it. =) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had these two 12 orions before and trust me, they are not that loud. Adding a thrid wouldn't make a damn difference. Two 12 L5s backed up by a good amp in a good box will definately be louder. the setup before could have also been your box. you cannot entirely blame the speakers alone. given the right enclosure, adding a third WOULD make a difference. but 2 L5's over 2 orions would be better compared to 3 to 2 with the proper given enclosure and the same amount of power. You jumped on him pretty fast, you should of read his post a bit more. Hes asking if he can mix 2 different sub brands, not 2 different sub sizes.
