I don't think he's "trying" to get his name on a woofer. I think its more of a commendation(sp) from Fi for putting them on the map along with a lot of other companies. He simply worked his way to the top with time/money/effort. He just does what he loves but takes the time out to show us how each thing is done and why its done on his own dime and time.

Also if I had the money I'd buy the woofers to show my support as he has showed his to me for having this site for me to come to when I have a question in need of an answer or to get an idea from one of his builds or someone elses.

Buy the Fi, it's a proven driver of which is fairly well known. (as far as enclosures, power limits, etc..)

My policy is to wait and see. Yea the AA SMD sub looks great but no one's heard one yet.
