Chrisn077
I found these and I got a few ideas where I could use them in a tight place. I was wondering if anyone has heard these in person or knows if they are any good. Bestbuys price is alot more expensive than most websites. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1202648740418 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1204331847849 Thanks. raytard
i've heard both like in the same spec box (their box requirements are near identical) off the same amp, and they are pretty much the same, but neither one is very loud. unless you really need something that works in a box that size use a real sub. slugdub
Shallow indeed! Those pioneers look crazy. I'd go with the Kicker Comp CVT myself. Cheap on ebay (but alot more than say CVR): http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-CVT12-12-INCH-2...1713.m153.l1262

raytard
that was me we install A LOT of shallows where I work, 3-4 setups with shallows per week, a lot of people have pickups/limited room if you're going for sq and need low end, its amazing. We had one of those pioneers mounted in the cargo area of a mini, so he didnt lose any room, it sounded fantastic. the shallows will never get loud though, and it may be that people who bought the kicker expected that of it, but they just cant do it. slugdub
So people are so low on space that the extra displacement gained from shallow mounts makes it worth the trouble and extra $$$? Odd. I did notice the freq response on those things is very pidly.
