Only thing I wouldn't reccomend is running them below their suggested impedence. If your looking for a ton of power at 1 ohm then I'd say an SD8000 would be what you would want. Just keep in mind that look more toward the 5000w rating at 12.5v because you'll need one hell of an electrical to hold 14.4v with a 5000w amp. I'm talking at least 350amp alt with external regulator and 3-4 good group 31 batteries to probably hold 13.5-14v. Amp is capable of the 7k but are you capable of giving it enough electrical to do so. And this goes with any amp that has ratings of 14.4v. But like I said good amp. Do you have the electrical to back up 6KW? 4 months, full pre-pay and no warranty when it arrives... after hearing that (direct from DD!!!!) I've basically cut it from my list of amps.
