Chris
I suggest to try 2 12" or 15" fully loaded BTL's. save on space, and are like 2 subs in one. Then an RF T4000.1BD or 2 T3000.1BD's. Bad ass system right there. mojoman
we tried several combos, but still only gain a small amount. are 4 subs not the way to go? he is running 4 mojo 12's with 4- mojo 4KW's. each pair strapped at .5 ohm comp and 2 ohm daily. we are confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully we can come up with a better box/ install. LSN2meBoom916
Have you tried running it walled? Are you against walls? If so....I'd think a rear ported, upward firing setup w/ the 4 12's should do well (CRX style of course) either that or subs against glass and port back. I have had good numbers in hatches w/ those type setups and LESS luck w/ subs firing UP in back seats or forward in back seats (hatches w/ rear seats I mean, I know crx is a 2seater). Maybe try a bigger box w/ 2 subs, maybe a Tline or a folded horn. Those should get silly loud. The only folks I know who design the folded horn type is TTB but they sell designs too. ~2 centavos Edited March 2, 2007 by LSN2meBoom916 Quote COOGLE SAID:"bro thats how we got where we are... buy making messes ...... i still learn all the time you just gota be willing to ruck up some shit" "In order to attain the impossible, one must attempt the absurd." ~ Miguel de Unamuno"One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men, but no machine can do the work of one extraordinary man" -Elbert Hubbard"A proud man can learn humility...but he will be proud of that too" ~I forget who.I'm far from perfect and I know it better than anyone, but I hope to be good at what I do, when I do it...Installs I've done:My Integra: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=3161The Lexus : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=1535Law's Maxima: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=5568&hl=Jeff's 2500HD: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=5382&hl=Acura RSX-S: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=3142Z-32 300zx: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=34602004 Civic 4dr: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=8190Trunk/Corner Box: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...c=16036&hl=1969 Chevy C-10: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...c=20319&hl=Seat-Back AMP-RACK How-to: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=9428&hl=Bunch of subs still for salehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...l=lsn2meboom916"It's game night...we're playin......sex."~Quagmire"When disneyland started it was powered completely by orphan children running on treadmills to generate e-lectrissty…and today, them children are New York Yankees". ~Dale Gribble"Fill it with ice...then pour it up to the top of the ice...& Shut da Fu** up!" ~Urs truly. s1795so2
how many cubic ft. is your box? ist it 1 chamber, or each one has seperate chambers? What is the box tuned to? These woofers really sound great in pairs, 2 was enough for me in my silverado, 2 15mojo's were enough for my buddy's tahoe. Even the memphis rep for my buddy's store is running 2 15's on a 2kw in his expedition. I was running 2 1100.1's on mine, he was running 1 4kw on his pair. My opinion try 2 on 1 4kw for daily and for comp's throw the 2nd 4kw in there. Oh yeah, I am pretty sure memphis reccomends at least 2.5 cubes per sub, tuned to 40 hz to get the most out of these subs. -Steven-
