Harbor Freight FTW on the one time use uni bits... lol

I will buy the bits from there, and its the skinnier uni bit that will break always for some reason

went to the one close to your house yesterday, people that worked there were dumber than shit,i asked 3 people there if they had a circle cutting jig they looked at me stupid, one said i have never heard of one so no, the other sent me to the gardening tool area in the back left corner, the other one sent me to the air tools. so i looked around and didnt find anything. it was fun, but to me it looked like a bunch of tools you would find at the dollar store. :unknw:

but yes when in doubt use the uni bit lol. works great...but dont push to hard

those cars are a bitch to run power wires in.

And far as the best connection ever.......

get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.

ah hell looks like i got to go buy some bits... anything else

If your gonna drill a hole through the firewall to run your power wire, I would also strongly recommend a rubber grommet, cause you dont want it to wear and have a short.

I go thru the drain plugs, or the European clutch/gas pedal plugs if they have them.. lol

Firewalls are usually 2 layers with at least 1" to larger gap between the inner and outer, depending on the car model. But yeah, either way Iam sure you will need to drill

x2

drain plug would be easier

I know a lil about everything so dont call me Mr. Know it All.

I have never seen a firewall with a gap like that. If anything the metal is usually doubled up with no gap.

And..

These are what I use to drill thru firewalls.

Me neither ;/

Drill with stepper bit then stick some split loom in it so it catches in one of the little groove things :)

EDIT: Predrill as big as you can and make sure you know what's on both sides :P
