2200 watts will be more than enough power to get the level 5 to reach x max. It won't be the end all amount of power on the sub, but it will get loud. I would reccomend that you just keep the 12's though or even go with a pair of smaller DC 12's if your stuck on that brand. Because you won't be running a ton of power on the level 5 you will more than likely be louder with the bl's or even a pair of level 4's.

I mean dont get me wrong, I love my BL's and there loud as fuck for what they are...I'm ready to step my game up haha. I want more Cone Area and to be louder, and as far as Ive heard and seen, DC is the way to go. I love the Lvl 5

haha yea i always keep that in mind, but I also keep in mind my budget too haha

I was thinking of getting two lvl4 15's instead of 1 lvl5 18, but i knew that i would have to buy another amp to support that...it just goes on and on lol

It would depend on the final ohm load and how imp rise to be honest. DCexplorer can attest to what Im about to say...6-10s on 333watts (clamped real world power) slams very very loudly and thats plenty for daily. I have 6 sonance 10s (2.5 inch coils) and they are by all means way louder then his (dcexplorers) DC audio 18 on a saz3000d....nuff said

2200 is plenty for 2 lvl 4s as well you dont need another amp if your going from bl's to lvl 4s

this idealogy is what irritates me aobut everyone on this forum constantly telling people they need more power for this and more power for that. because there are now a forum full of peeps who think they cant run RMS on subs becasue they wont be loud enough.
