sound xtreme
I am biased, and for good reason. I would run the 2500.1 amp. They do quite a bit more than 2500 watts too, and save you $$$$ over the sundown, which would help pay for the batteries. ISO
I haven't played with either ones sub amps yet but DAT is starting to blow me away just what I have bean reading. I already have to much money wraped up in RF amps so I'm sticking with what I have. Quote Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. Just in case everyone isnt on the same page yet. What have you found? what do you like? what a/b tests have you seen? compared to other "like" amplifiers out there, what do you like/dislike and most of all, what dont you like about DAT? If anything. If anything. To be honest I'm looking at the people that started the company and how they feel about products (amps). These are guys that have been tinkering with amps as long as I have and I feel they know that their product will be abused becuase at some point or another they have abused their past products. So that was probly the first they thought about when they started thinking about have amps built. Without useing a DAT amp I am willing to say that the guys that came up with this idea believe in SQ and extreme amounts of abuse. Next the only thing I can offer is just looking at the internals myself or pics of them and you just get the feeling that they are built solid and last along time. I'm sorry if my answer is not good enough but I'm looking at an amp that possibly 4 very experienced guys that have run alot of different stuff and all put their heads together and came up with something that will do exactly what I mentioned above. Take lots of abuse and have very good sound quaility while being abused and both Sundown and Diablo have brought back headroom and for some wierd reason that makes me feel good inside. (I guess that comes from running the old Kicker ZR amps) Quote Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.
