Prolly 10 or 11, we built alot of hotrods growing up so i got into it early..im am 30 now.I did have a good 8-9yr break tho and just this year have gotten bit by the bug again

15. put a power acoustic 12 in a box i made for behind the seat of my 81 ford truck. lol ran it right off the radio along with the dash speaker.lol

17, wanted to rip all the radio wiring out of my car, but I got a cd player for my bday, then got speakers, then heard a car at school with 4 DD 8's and wanted a sub. In less than six months I've gone from a Dual ten, Dual doors and Sony by-nines to MB Quart and Alpine speakers and subs and 740 watts. How bad have you got it? lol

5 or 6 i started tog et interested in it, i had a bunch of older cousins who would rock subwoofers in their cars and i'd always hear them at like family events

around 13 or 14 i started installing for friends and learning from them (like older kids in the neighborhood...I had a shitton of tools cuz my dad was a mechanic)

by 16 i was steadily doing installs and by 17 i had a job selling stereos and kept doing side installs (and got my first real system since for the first time ever I had a car i could mess with and enough cash to support myself and get audio)

now i'm 20 and all thats changed is I know alot more and have a bigger paycheck, lol

lol i was 13 and had a set of thump pro audio 10's ina wedge hatch box ported in my room, n ive been hooked every sence, i just like audio n video, i guess its the idea of hookin stuff up n makein it work

when i was about 8, i convinced my mom to buy my a pyle 10" and built a cardboard .5 cube box for it, held together with duct tape. 3 months later i hit a pawn shop with the money i saved up and for 2 10" legacies in a box for $80 and i just went from there. didnt learn a thing from other people, learned it all with my hands, im 16 and my love for car audio just grows every day, and i cant believe i dont know how yet, but i want to learn how to calculate up a t-line box, thats my goal before i turn 18, but yeah, back in the day around 12 i had my moms buicks trunk STACKED UP with like 8 prefab boxes and like 12 subs, all shit, and running off of the head unit, but damn i couldnt have been happier. good ole days.....
