To those of "US" that use Win7 "RC" release, verification of when it expires!

I have been hearing WAY WAY to many people saying that the Win7 RC release (NOT THE BETA RELEASE) is going to be over in MID 09, and that is not the truth. i dont understand what you mean, but this post was to show people that the RC release version is good for almost another year, not a few weeks/months.

i think he means he has perks from college where he can get a free copy of the os. i used to be a computer science major and they sent me an link through email that took me to a microsoft site with many programs to download for free, and operating systems were also on there.

alright so i was in my student resource center place and they have the release candidate of windows 7 as stated above. my question is that they have 2 versions of it and i dont know which one i should get. they have windows 7 ultimate RC (x64) and a (x86) version. and its prob a noob question but can i upgrade from xp to windows 7? i never really liked vista so i never got it but i am interested in trying windows 7.

i would get the 64 bit one, but it depends on what your hardware supports.
