IPhone battery life

Basically just turn on the stuff when you really need it... I just push to fetch, not every hour or so.. That might help. It might just be because of the 2x cpu bump in the 3gs... But overall the battery life has been a complaint in all the iphones... You can't be mad, it has one largest screens on a cellphone. An the things that it can do is amazing!!

my thing legit lasts 3-5 days, even making 10-20 calls a day and a hundred or so texts, and bluetooth always on showing customers how it works with stereos and shit.

it shocked me how long it lasts (its a curve 83 series...apparantly the touchscreen one is as bad as the iphone)

I say that even AFTER saying my curve WAS my best phone. Its OK but to me, its a nice Honda accord with roll up windows compared to the fully loaded cadillac, just one that gets shitty mileage thats all

I had the same problem before and I got the incase power slider Visit My Website. It looks good, adds bulk to the phone so it feels about the same as a Blackberry and I don't cripple mine at all, half brightness, email every 15 minutes, text all day, play games all day and use the bluetooth and maps 24/7. Lasts all day and you can get one at Best Buy. Also I got a car charger from the apple store that has the regular Iphone and a blackberry adapter which is great because the incase uses the USB style charger. Just drop it in the charger when your in the car even for 10-15 minutes at a time and it charges up fast.

thanks man but im not looking for a new case. The rubber boot looking skin i have on it now works just fine.

currently, right now, i have wifi off, brightness on Auto but the slider is turned down about halfway, and bluetooth is disabled (left my earpiece at home anyway on accident).

Today, Ive texted a few times and thats about it. Hasnt made a noticeable difference at all.

i love the iphone but its weak POS battery makes a otherwise 10/10 phone, a 9/10 phone in my book. I am fortunate enough to always be near a power-point of some sort but if i wasnt, id be one pissed off mo-fo right now

No problem, but the case IS the battery, it has an entire EXTRA battery but it's a little bigger so it's something like 110% of the original, you get more than 2 times the power overall. Since you can't change the battery it's the only other way. It's the powerslider model.

things that helped my battery life..

set my email to fetch once an hour.

turned push Off

back light to a little under 1/2

turn location services Off

here lately i can charge it all night and it will last all day unless i do alot of surfing. i never turn 3g off.

that's how mine is set, but my location services is on since most to all apps (that i have anyway) need it to operate. doesnt hinder the battery a noticeable amount imo. it still lasts all day and into the night. i charge mine nightly too.

also do you have your screen lock set on a time frame? 1-5 minutes? or lock it manually? if it's open all the time, that will suck some juice as well

when i first got my iphone i was pretty pissed about my battery life.. but i noticed the biggest changes when you turn fetch new data off. if you dont your phone will constantly pull information from the internet (mail, updates, ect.) causing your phone to work more.. when you turn it off itll only pull specific information at one time instead of constantly.. try that and tell me how it works out

gary and i smashed julies iphone to see how it works..that pos battery u should custom make it stick some x's power in there ..battery life is short on those... i bet u miss your curve...that thing can go for 2½ days easy texting non stop

edit: my spelling is horrible 2 DR peppers and this happens
