those are my old Oasis Gothic 24's - a buddy came to buy them last weekend so i cleaned them up inside and out, as clean as they can be.....loaded them in his burban and then i noticed he had 8 lugs instead of 6..talk about a day-wrecker hahah..i dont care about the money but my boy wanted some 4's and that took the wind out of his sails for sure!

so now they are back at home....anyone local want them i will sell them pretty cheap and i have 5 :)

awesome work as usuall steve, just one thing i noticed: why did you cut all the rings so far apart on the mdf? theres a hell of a lot of wasteage between those rings...

im currently doing my doors so im keen to see how you finish these off :)

right now its JUST glued in place. In a day or two or 3, i will use a few screws in "key" spots to make sure it doesnt collapse when i pull the fleece over it.

the second set of rings in the door is not really rings, its is a solid piece with holes in it. It is a "platform" to mount the actual rings to. When its all said and done it will serve as STRUCTURE and it also gives me a place to run a screw thru and fasten the bottom part to the door from the inside so there are no visible fasteners. You will see :)

Cool... I was kinda wondering , cause I caught them mounted up in the video, but you didnt really go into detail about them and their mounting.

And you answered my next question in the last post.... I guess you will stick a couple of screws in the backer plate after the door panel is on the door, but before you actually mount some of the speakers in the door.

Good stuff man. thanks.

hey steve just a question, i watched your videos of doing the rings for the doors and was just wondering why you didn't router the tweets? sorry if it sounds stupid but haven't had a chance to play with a router with a jig on it so not sure if you can do holes that small only reason i'm asking. just trying to learn more on all this when i don't know something for sure i like to ask :)

anyways looking damn good, can't wait to see you wrap the doors prolly teach me something there too lol
