jailbroke, installed MyWi - now my f*cking Wifi doesnt work at all.........i knew this shit was bad news. Anyone know how to fix this? I shoulda just left it alone!!!!!!

that's weird. my 3g wifi works, but then again i havent updated it to 3.1 yet. waiting for all the new jailbreaks to work out their kinks, and just been too lazy to do it.

but to fix it, plug it in your computer, go to itunes, and do a restore. sucks, yes, but that's how you get a clean slate. tho i'm sure with a lil tinkering you could get it to work...

Sorry you're having problems, Steve. When you turn on the wifi tethering it turns off your ability to connect to wifi. It makes sense because if you can connect to wifi on your phone you dont need to connect to your phone...you can just connect to the wifi source. If you turn off your wifi tethering, you can connect to a wifi source again.

Not sure how big of a pain it is, but when you get mywi, it turns on the factory tethering settings in your phone, so instead of using the wifi tethering option you can connect to your mac mini with either USB, or bluetooth. That might be better for you so you can always use your wifi, until you're in the how then it connects to your computer, and lets it work as the connection for you computer.

Broken Wi-Fi Fix : There is an easy fix for all of this. All you have to do is to go to Settings>General>Reset> and hit Reset Network Settings. After resetting the network settings. Then reboot your phone and you should be fine.

Strange you had that problem...I'm on 3g 3.1.2 and have had no problems whatsoever. I got tethering, themes, tons of other mods, can turn off my phone and use itunes...everything works great.

thats just my luck really.....nothing ever works right for me, not even easy stuff. Im trying to reset now - we will see. Anyway tethering is cool but i tried to DRIVE while tethered with youtube on and i lost connection pretty quick. It would be nice if once it lost connection, it would pick it up again instead of locking up......fuckin WEAK SAUCE. Oh well.
