3gAccord Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 couple problems with that. I dont think i have enough space. I only have a max of 6.5 cubes to work with, and the sub is too tall to facefront or back. Second problem is i wouldnt know how to design the enclosure.I was thinking more mounting it horizontal, but 6.5 probably isn't enough. My latest project; 87 Accord Hatchback!... Only got my 6 1/2's in it right now... I'm working on shining my engine to show quality right now, then I'll put it in. System will come around the 1st.
herbykw Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 How does this look? THis would make the box bigger and give it a lower tuning frequency. Unfortunatly this would still place my sub firing up with the port back. And i had a large box like this before and it was noticably louder with the trunk open. I would assume it was because of the airflow around the box into the cabin. any thoughts on this? 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834

I was gonna say...even if you could try and angle it forward, the depth and mag would probably never let it fit without hittin...Id sell the 18 man...and just take advice off of the other guys...
