If you rarely drive over 5mph of the speed limit, why get a radar detector? lol. Your friends will learn that speeding helps nothing but headaches and high insurance premiums, and your parents (if what you say is true) prolly already have tickets and nice high insurance payments. Esp. if your from NC, I hate NC cops. If the only thing you are sweating at this point is them bitching at you for a radar detector, you should feel privelaged.
