trainman0978 Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 If you used a short screw ( maybe a half inch or so of threads ) with a large cap head on it, and then resin over it, it should be great to use under fiberglass. With the little bit of thickness of the bracket itself, and using 3/4 MDF you shouldn't break through the other side. Plus, you could always add a little glue on the back of the bracket before you screwed it down if you want a little extra holding power. Really though, you could prolly just put a little resin down, lay the bracket in , and cover it with resin soaked matt.
