Hee looked pretty happy, he jumped out his car pretty quick and was jumping for joy!! grabbing blonds and taking pictures with them. LOL

I watched the Europe ustream since the USA was nothing but a FAILBOAT.

LOOOL, I cannot grab a girl and it will not be seen from somewhere in the world.

No wonder I have that "reputation" when it comes to girls, they are just

always the first thing, hehehe...

Ok, I came back this night at 3 AM and I am still tired.

Thanks a bunch for the congradulations.

I did not even expect the outgoing of the event.

As told before, I thought I will not even become german champ

when I have to play against an extreme car. But this car also

(unfortunately) had malfunction. They burned a lot of woofers

and the dB Drag/dB Cup participation were more important to them

than Bass Race. So they stepped back form the participation on world level.

That was my first victory. Then, I was lonely in the european section

of the weekend. Another title. I thought (after seeing the qualifying scores)

well, thats it again. 2nd place again what would have been VERY fine with me,

bc its same than last 3 years now when I took 2nd after Thommy all the time.

I am good with this.

So I did my duty as I said in my other thread. Not going in the

149,9 bc I cannot pull out a 159,9. But this is my class and I moved forward

to the world finals. Was more than I expected and just a win win situation.

Never hit a perfect start at this weekend bc the software was new for me and ran on

Vista. We had a veeeeeeeeeeery long "SET" before time was running.

At tests at home I was able to put a 159,1 and a 159,2 in Bass Race.

But here I just got a 158,5 as best.

With that knowledge I started, another time, later in the final round against Steve Mick.

Just to make sure it is no prestart. I didnt see his doings either so I just did my thing

and sat into my car and saw the score climbing to just a 157,8. Doesnt matter

if I loose by .1 or 3 dB I thought. The displays from the other countries were not

visible for me at any time. Just the people around knew that there was a problem

with Steves car. I just sat in my vehicle in about 159dBs around me.

After the time, I thought, congrats Oki to another 2nd place.

But all the people came to me and yelled and congraduladed me.

I thought what the heck is going on. Never got so much attention

for a 2nd place. But then I heard Steve just had problems and ended up

with 151 something. That was the time (about 20 seconds after time end)

I knew bymyself that the "accident" happened and I won the title.

So I grabbed that nice greek girl what was so friendly and filmed everything with my camera.

She was a girlfriend or wife from a greek competitor (BTW, NICE GUYS!!!). Unfortunately

her name was too complicated for me to remember. I am sorry about that!

At the end I am very happy about that title.

But the knowledge that I won it bc the failure or equipment problems by others,

dampes it a little bit. I am not able to do a 159,9 right now.

But I still work on it. Maybe next finals? On the other side, I lost competitions

also bc of own problems and then, others jumped on me and took the chance to win in my weak moments :)

Thats life, thats competition. So I am not louder, but I won :)

Its not enough to own a big gun, you have to know how to shoot it!

How to clean and treat it right so that it works properly.

Bc of the short time I have the ATOMIC APX woofers in, I was not able

to find out how to demo the car. So I apologize to EVERYBODY from the bottom

of my heart not have been able to give full power demos. Just short burps

at full power were done and Music up to half power and for short periods.

That competition was halfway important for me and so I hope for understanding.

Next comeptitions I will disturb the peace again, PROMISE!

But now its winter break. Will not to much on the car maybe.

Making plans for next season and so on.

Thanks again for congrats and I do my best to still improve the car...

I am just damn proud of myself bc I stayed in the big class and stand my man

instead of running away from my competition. It paid off and hopefully motivates

others not to give up. At the end my sentence "its not over before it is over"

came true and even if I just saw a 10% chance of winning one round and a

3% chance of winning all three titles, I MADE IT THROUGH!

It was not easy, it was not cheap. It took a lot to switch woofers and built

them in that it looks nice and is not just for SPL reasons.

This weekend was a fortune walkthrough though the misfortune of others.

I just hope nobody "hates" me for that, being in the right place at the right moment :)

Oh boy, wrote waaaay too much now.

Have to go to bed. I am sooo tired and

the world champion title helps NOTHING in that case :)

PS.: Id rather get my 10th or 12th jacket instead of this ring,

what I will never wear I guess...

Üüüühh!!!

Funny thing, as always, I come with the car, dont work on it, have a good time

(except the excitement during the competition) do demos (more or less)

destroy nothing, repair nothing, and after the event I grab my few stuff

and just drive home with up to 140mph :)

This year I had to put my charger out so it looked more full in my pit stall.

Usually there is just the power cord what goes INSIDE the car. But I had these

2 additional batteries and the charger has to be moved out.

PS.: Dont say anything about the "small" trophies.

I am glad when they are as small as possible. If I want

bigger ones, I build them as big as I want by myself LOL

Will put a pic on later with two trophies from my summer event

what were brought to other competitiors who left early.
