NDMstang65
Before all of the "looks like" posts pop up -- it is not based on any other motors. I think the top plate is almost 3x the thickness of the BL. Nothing but some 220mm slugs.. It's not nearly 3" either... Quote Authorized Ascendant Audio Dealer! Message me for information. sundownz
Nothing but some 220mm slugs.. It's not nearly 3" either... I'm not talking bad about the BL Nick -- but obviously they are not the same or similar motors. Maybe the TP just looked thin on the BLs I had (I didn't get a chance to measure them) - it looked like 12.5mm or so on the ones I had. This sub is 32mm thick. But it may be thicker than it looks on the BL -- and again, that is not a knock on the BL... just a difference in the design of the two motors. Blue_C1500
Bummer, I just bought V1 Nightshades. Well, at least they like the same box so hopefully I'll be ready and able to upgrade next year when the are released. sundownz
I built one up (prototype motor still) for a show tomorrow... D1 with just two of the new spiders + double leads. Burped two 3500s @ 1/4 each on it resulting in 154.2 dB -- with my voltage drop / impedance rise that is probably around 7kw... I may get time to clamp @ the show tomorrow.
