sundownz
148.8 so far @ 55 Hz. Seems to have two peaks... one around 40 and another at 55 Hz or higher (my tones stop at 55 hz and it was getting louder all the way until then). So not bad. Not sure on clamped power yet but I have one 4500D on the pair. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz
149.2 aiming the box backwards still @ 55 hz... unusual that it peaks this high in vehicle as it is tuned fairly low. I accidentally just broke off the tip of my voltage meter so I won't have clamped power this time. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

kirill007
Holy crap, 149.2 db, didn't expected that high numbers. I thought it would be around 145db at 55+hz. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
sundownz
I calculated impedance at a lower volume standing behind the passenger seat doing voltage / amperage... says 0.67 after rise. Then I calculated the power by measuring amperage... meter reads 75 amps -- around 3800 watts or so as a rough estimate. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz
With these small wires I can't stick my voltage probe through the wire... and I broke off the tip trying to screw it into the terminals... that is why I had to stand there and hold it on to calculate at a lower volume So that is the best I can get for a power estimate. I did gain 0.4 laying it down flat aiming at the hatch -- but it is designed to fire up like in the pictures. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz
I fail since I forgot to take a photo of the 149.2... but I did it again real quick and did 149.1 : - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz
Probably could squeeze out a 150 if I played with it... took the wires out of the port, etc, etc. BUT I think that is good enough for today... have to take it back out and hook it back up for our test bench usage and get my regular SPL box back in for a show this weekend Hope that helps! - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
