slim2fattycake
better have a good way of sealing air leaks around the gasket if you want to mount from the under side. thorshammer
I can't see that working because no matter what the sub will have to go through both pieces of wood. So I can't see this working, maybe I am looking at it wrong? I don't know. Only way I can see this working in my head is inverting the sub, other than that, it wouldn't work. split baffle will work fine. You mount it around the sub secure it and put it on the box. What I see as a bigger issue would be soft parts. Its hard enough keeping a lvl 5 10 from shredding let alone an 8. Either way it would be fun to see and play with. Oversize mounting rings would do the trick as well.
loganberry
you got the money and im sure it can be done Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
W3ASL3Y88
i like the idea, cuz its funny when people think u got big woofers and you can reply "nope just one 8" lol
J00bles
its been asked about in the past. i cant remember if it was rusty or jacob, but one of them said it was no possible due to coil size, spider landing/ spider size, and the cones arent big enough to handle that amount of power. im sure it can be done, but the spiders wont last long. skittlesRgood
nothings impossible, if they say it cant be done, we'll just have to do it ourselves haha ok buddy. the spiders is where i see the problem. they would have to be very small and wouldnt allow for enough travel. as soon as they see good power they will be torn apart.
