ArmoredPersonel48698
When I upgrade next year, I'm not looking to sell my amp or subs (keep them as backup if some shit happens to the new stuff). I'd like to bring them indoors and use them with the stereo I have either in my room or in the living room. What all would I need if I brought them in and hooked them up? ISO
If you really want to do it the right way you deffinently want a power supply that was designed for this App and atleast one battery. In short do it just like you would in a car except look at the Power supply the same way you look at an alternator. I have an 80 amp PS with one D925 and usaully a digital volt meter hooked up to tell me when I'm stressing my setup. I.ve ran my Kicker ZR1000 off of it in stereo and bridged for short periods of time and my RF 1501BD doesn't stress it at all as long as I'm playing music. One more battery and I think I'll be set. Now you don't need to buy and 80 amp version they do come smaller. The only complaint I have is this particular design puts out alot of high frequency noise when you start pulling current and can be annoying. You must use sealed batteries, you don't have to but theres a chance you could get sick useing normal batteries. I'm doing R&D on my new house speakers and need alot of power for testing before I hook them up to my 150x2 at 4 ohm home reciever and these pics are an example of some of the things I use my setup for. ISO
I don't recommend going over a 60 amp design unless you want to run a dedicated 20 amp circuit from your panel. I haven't done that yet and its been a year so I'm being careful but I'm not ready to put to small holes in my wall that I will need to patch and take apart part of my sophit outside to get the wire there. ISO
More than you can afford pal. Ferrari LOL you were rite about 2 years ago. trust me I was hesitent to buy one when the price dropped by a little less than 50%. I figured they went with a junkier design but I must be wrong cause mine will take what ever you throw at it. (to an extent) I think Stinger uses this same design too.
