windowtinter Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 customer came in and told me his two mojo 15's and 2500watts couldnt be done sub up port back cuz he already blew his back window out of his surburban with what he has then he ask if we have horns i say yeah some image dynamics and gave him a price he says nah man the last ones i had i took out of one of those sub boxes and he has 18 highs in there so its real klear he says. oh dont know if its been said but the customers that bring in those cheap ass $20 tweeters and want them put in the B pillar right by your ear because its sounds good like that.

bigbodylexus Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Okay I can understand the frustration about calling something that it's actually not but in all fairness (Kicker Box) Band-Aid is a brand name, the product is a bandage but the majority of us ask for what??? because it's product association. The first enclosure I ever saw (for car audio) was exactly that a "Kicker Box" it was a box from Stillwater Designs with a 10" sub and a passive radiator (look it up, if you don't know). Another one is Chicken McNugget, McDonald's owns the trademark to the name McNugget but how many times have you been in Burger King or Wendy's and the customer says "Chicken McNuggets"? Now on to my pet peeves: I hate when no matter how loud your system is, somebody (who has no system) always knows someone who's system is louder, what about those experts who will tell you why a capacitor is so much better than an extra battery? or the guy who could have a system way louder than yours he just doesn't want to. The Performer Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 It scares me seeing when someone strips the end of their power cable, as well as ground, and just shoves the strands under the spade terminal spot on the amp and thinks it's safe. Another just peeve is when someone uses a yellow or blue crimp terminal for a 22 gauge wire that needs a red terminal. Along with that is when people use scotch locks as a splice to connect wires. People who think that the wiring harness for an aftermarket H/U is just matching colors. I cant even count how many dodges I've seen with the remote +12v lead being led back into the trucks computer.
